SALT LAKE CITY -- Aug. 24, 2009 -- Sendside, the Sales Automation and Acceleration Platform, today announced the addition of four senior-level sales executives, Al Ormiston, Mike Cookman, Nick Mecham and Paul Knopf. Under the leadership of vice president of sales, John Sutton, the team will focus on large business and enterprise opportunities.

Al Ormiston: was previously with Sun Microsystems, where he held a number of roles including vice president OEM and software sales, and vice president and general manager of eSun and vice president of North American sales. Prior to Sun Microsystems, Al was vice president of national accounts and director of marketing at Data General Corporation.
Mike Cookman: was previously the vice president of the Western Region at VantageMed where he built and managed sales operations across nine western states. Prior to VantageMed, Mike was the western region director of channels for strategic partnerships at SAP and director of the western region at Cincom.
Nick Mecham: brings to Sendside more than 15 years experience in direct, channel and enterprise sales and business development. During the course of his career, he has been an executive level member and founder of a number of technology start-ups. Prior to joining Sendside, he was vice president of sales and business development at MaxStream, Inc. Currently; he sits on the boards of AvaLAN Wireless and Nail Jack Tools.
Paul Knopf: comes to Sendside from QAD, where he was the vice president of technology. While at QAD, he built the sales force and successfully led the team to exceed their sales quotas month over month. Prior to QAD Paul was with Product Architecture, where he directed all architects and was responsible for establishing the product direction for a complex ERP system that resulted in the industry's leading lowest total cost of ownership ERP system.
